The DaZhenYu Scenic Area Development Project
Mini Size Long March Road
Construct a 25-li long (miniaturized) Long March Road. The Red Army's Long March traversed 15 provinces and cities: Fujian, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Hunan, Guangxi, Guizhou, Yunnan, Chongqing, Sichuan, Qinghai, Ningxia (West Kham), Gansu, Shaanxi, Henan, and Hubei, covering 153 key points. The Central Red Army's main Long March route includes 50 key points; the Central Red Army's flexible extension route includes 52 key points; the Red Second Front Army's flexible extension route includes 23 key points; the Red Fourth Front Army's flexible extension route includes 14 key points; and the Red Twenty-fifth Army's flexible extension route includes 14 key points.
The Long March served as a propaganda team, a declaration, and a seed-sowing machine. It is a story of astonishing heroism, a testament to the Red Army soldiers' extraordinary perseverance in extremely challenging struggles.
From the 106th section of the Great Wall to Sancha Pass, this area consists entirely of barren mountains. Measurements will be taken from this point and its surroundings to construct a 25-li long road, symbolizing the 25,000-li Long March, known as the Red National Defense Strong Army Long March Road. Along this road, the history, geography, culture, heroic deeds, and military strategies from the Long March will be displayed and narrated, symbolizing the enduring spirit of the Red Army and the Long March, to be passed down through generations.
According to statistics, there are approximately 530,000 schools nationwide with nearly 300 million students. In Beijing alone, there are nearly 200,000 students. At the foot of the Great Wall in Beijing, they can experience the entire Long March Road, offering a unique educational practice, perseverance training, social classroom experience, and patriotic military education, making it a fulfilling life experience.
Creating the "AI Space Capsule" Technology Innovation Base
Although this area is a sensitive zone, it benefits from the special protection policies for the Great Wall and the green environmental protection area. The park can apply for spot land use, adopting a layout suitable for the local conditions, divided into areas A, B, C, D, and E. The plan includes a pilot project at the southernmost end with Four Gullies and One Station (Shipen Gully, Toudao Gully, Erdao Gully, Sandao Gully, and Lianyu Station) (Miaonan Gully as an alternative). According to national policies, distance adjustments will be made while preserving the original ecology. Innovative design and new environmentally friendly materials will be used to create a low-carbon, environmentally friendly "Maker Space (AI Space Capsule)."
On this basis, in conjunction with the National Defense Strong Army Long March Road, the "Octagonal Tower" research and training center will be established.
The "Maker Space AI Space Capsule" is a functional area designed to create a work space, network space, social space, and resource-sharing space for the technology innovation community. It aims to attract individuals interested in fields such as computers, mathematics, mechanics, technology, science, electronics, and digital arts. In this space, social activities, collaborative projects, mutual exchanges, and study sessions will inspire creativity. It provides a low-cost, convenient new entrepreneurial service platform for entrepreneurs. In this open and shared environment, professionals from various backgrounds and specialties gather to exchange and collaborate, gazing at the starry sky of ideas. Surrounded by a green and culturally rich atmosphere, it enhances the vitality and creates conditions for Chinese people to climb the peaks of science and technology.
Planning the Usable Perimeter of the Park (30 Thought Pavilions and Shared Book Walls)
The park is surrounded by barren hills and slopes. Standing on the ridge and looking around, the terrain's outline resembles a vibrant green leaf. Two valleys and nearby undulating gullies form a shape similar to a dragon and phoenix kissing at the foot of the Great Wall. The ridge is both flat and wide, with 28 natural peaks accompanied by the Great Wall stretching from west to east, forming a genuine Great Wall park.
To fully showcase the park's cultural atmosphere, social benefits, economic benefits, and intelligent design, the traditional method of building enclosures will be changed. Thirty Thought Pavilions, dedicated to sages and wise men, will be connected by a beautiful shared book wall stretching for dozens of miles. This wall will feature the 60 "Fathers of Chinese Scientists," symbolizing national craftsmanship and pillars of the nation.
The shared book wall will provide storage and sharing space for old and read books from homes, spanning dozens of miles. This symbolic structure, displaying the heritage of sages and wise men, will serve as a visible representation of national spirit, offering models to learn from and inspiration for progress. Standing on this grand book wall, with views of the Great Wall to the north and south, Chinese people will deeply appreciate the great civilization of China. The Thought Pavilions will be named after the 28 sages featured in the "Chinese Wise Men" series edited and published by Chen Yu from the Chinese Think Tank Park Research Office.
These "Thought Pavilions" will serve as grand halls of Chinese thought and culture, and as platforms for educational book-sharing in nature. They will integrate natural ecology with spiritual culture, sage culture with red culture, traditional culture with tourism culture, and knowledge-application education with innovation. The fusion of national think tanks, university think tanks, civil think tanks, technological innovation, national defense education, and strong military culture will create an environment that supports rural revitalization, reaching dual carbon standards, and advancing towards the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
Chinese Wine Culture
To better conceive the cultural connotation of the park and fully showcase the usable social and economic value of the barren land, the "Thought Pavilions" will be named "Predecessors" and "Future Generations," with 28 pavilions named after the sages in the "Chinese Wise Men" series edited by Chen Yu from the Chinese Think Tank Park Research Office. These pavilions will serve as educational book-sharing platforms in nature, seamlessly blending excellent traditional Chinese thought and culture into social life practices. They will integrate natural ecology with spiritual culture, sage culture with red culture, traditional culture with tourism culture, knowledge-application education with innovation, national defense education with strong military culture, and natural ecology with dual carbon standards. This will carry forward China's excellent traditional culture, advance technological innovation, and support rural revitalization, achieving the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
Chinese Wine Culture Underground Cellar Tasting Hall
To better conceive the cultural connotation of the park and fully showcase the social and economic value of the barren land in compliance with national policies, the plan is to utilize the unique "Cooling Breeze" terrain in the eastern part of the area. This natural underground cave formation creates an underground ventilation opening, ideal for constructing the Chinese Wine Culture Underground Cellar Tasting Hall.
In 2016, we formed a bond with Qianzhuang Wine Industry Group, the direct descendant of Wang Mao from Maotai Town by the Chishui River. We infused the red history and the legend of fine wine into the Great Wall Park, allowing the majestic Chinese wine culture to showcase its infinite charm, which is of great significance.
To realize the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and to celebrate the reunification of the motherland, the "Centennial Heritage" reunification celebration wine was born. No matter when or how the reunification of the motherland is achieved, it will be a grand celebration for all Chinese people.
In 2016, the "Centennial Heritage" reunification celebration wine was sealed to commemorate the event:
The "Centennial Heritage" reunification celebration wine is crafted by a famous master blender from Maotai Town. The wine is of superior quality, classic, and pure. Let us meet at the foot of the Great Wall, by the banks of the Chishui River, and raise our glasses! Toasting to the heavens, to the sages, and to our ancestors! In the clinking of glasses, we will witness the arrival of the great historical moment of the reunification of the motherland with the nation and the world.
The majestic Chinese spirit, Baijiu, with its 12 distinct aroma types, is renowned worldwide. In the current context where the nation is accelerating the construction of a domestic circulation-centered economic model that mutually promotes international and domestic dual circulation, this connectivity between industries and regions plays a significant role in economic development. The park will establish the brand: Chinese Wine Culture Tasting Hall.
